Class Description
Our Introduction to Sailing class is a great place to start if you have never been around boats before or are unsure about investing in one of our American Sailing curriculum certifications. There is no self study, textbook, online class, preparation, or exam required. You can just come and enjoy sailing for a few hours. Contact us to book this class.

What to Expect
This class is tailored to your specific needs. Our goal is to get you out on our full sized cruising boats sailing and having fun. You will learn the basic parts of a sailboat, how safely operate equipment onboard, how to tack, jibe, raise/lower sails and experience the excitement of sailing on Lake Travis.
Class Duration
This class is typically three hours on the water.
OS Sailing Pathways Curriculum
Our Introduction to Sailing class not included our OS Sailing Pathways. Upon completion of this class, you may choose to start your sailing journey and begin Level I of our OS Sailing Pathways curriculum.
